Inspection, Testing & Assessment

The development of gross defects or obvious points of functional failure in a building or structure, water ingress, for example, are traditionally the starting point for investigation and remedy. In such cases, a relatively minor defect that could have been corrected at modest cost has often deteriorated into a major repair requirement.
Recognising this, the Institution of Civil Engineers, together with others, has produced guidance on the whole life maintenance of multi-storey car parks. Working within their recommended framework, we deliver cost effective inspection and assessment services for car parks. Parallel services are provided for all other types of buildings and structures.

Where advanced analysis or specialist design is called for, we cooperate with leading Consulting Engineers like the Pell Frischmann Group. They recently designed a novel carbon fibre strengthening scheme that we subsequently installed.
