Anti Carbonation

Anti-carbonation coatings, which are available in a range of colours, protect concrete from acid rain attack and associated reinforcement corrosion.

Anti Graffiti
Graffiti is a major problem in Europe and elsewhere. It can be expensive to remove and, if not done properly, leave permanent traces. Permanent and sacrificial treatments are available to enable economic prevention and removal of graffiti.

Asphalt Rejuvenation
Using a revolutionary new product, tired and worn out asphalt pavement can be transformed for a fraction of the replacement time and cost. The product penetrates deep into asphalt and rejuvenates it, giving water-proofing and a long lasting "as new" appearance.

Carbon Fibre Strengthening
Carbon fibre strengthening is now an established approach to strengthening and stiffening all types of structures. A range of products are available to meet engineering specifications. Full design services are available through our engineering associates.

Cathodic Protection

Cathodic protection systems can be installed as active or passive systems, the main difference being that passive systems do not require external power and current control. Small passive networks can be used effectively in concrete repair work, where repairs may otherwise worsen the condition of the structure.

Chemical Resistant Lining
When choosing linings for new or refurbished industrial storage/processing tanks it is important to understand the range of performance requirements in terms of contained product pH, temperature range and possible abrasive content.

Chewing Gum
Chewing gum pollution has become a major problem in public places. However, there are highly efficient removal methods and special impregnations that open the way to managing the problem cost effectively. An important consideration in surface protection is the need to maintain surface friction values. Full cleaning and surface treatment services are provided.

PAVIX Concrete Impregnation
Concrete impregnation can add durability and extend the life of a structure. For this reason UK Highway Authorities specify it for bridges and marine structures. PAVIX CCC100, an environmentally friendly alternative to Silane, is the most effective treatment for all types of structures.

Concrete Repairs

They may look good, but poorly designed and executed concrete repairs can reduce the durability of a structure. Particularly important are good edge preparation and correct choice of materials. Where appropriate, passive cathodic protection can be built into concrete repairs.

Crack Injection
Cracks in concrete are entry points for moisture, contaminates and carbonation. This makes the reinforcing steel vulnerable to expansive corrosion. A wide range of crack sealing materials are available to meet both structural and non-structural requirements.

Membrane Injection
Using a CAD based model in conjunction with flow rate feedback, water proofing membranes can be injected behind masonry and concrete arches and water retaining structures. Two part acrylic materials are particularly effective in this context.

Pipe Repairs
Inaccessible breakages in buried and hidden pipes can be remotely repaired by an inflatable internal packer technique. A range of repair materials with different curing times can be used under wet or dry pipe conditions.

Roofing Renovation
The flat roofs of tower buildings are often deteriorated under the aggressive actions of weather extremes and high wind forces. With older tower buildings, inadequate thermal insulation is an added problem. Fortunately, cost effective, two coat systems can be installed that addresses all requirements.

Steelwork Protection
A range of protective coating systems can be supplied and applied for the protection of steelwork, including decorative finishes for bridges, building steelwork and other structures. Environmentally safe surface preparation work is undertaken according to client specifications.

Tank & Pipe Lining
Protective coatings can be provided to tanks for the storage/processing requirements of potable water and concentrated alkalis and acids. Inaccessible breakages is buried and hidden pipes can be remotely repaired by an inflatable internal packer technique. A range of repair materials with different curing times can be used under wet or dry pipe conditions.

Water Proofing
A range of water-proofing systems are available for car park decks, basements, bridges and all types of structures were water ingress is a problem. Depending on the application, a spray applied or welded sheeting system can be used. The surface preparation requirements vary according to the substrate and the adopted product system.

Wear & Anti-skid
A variety of wearing course and anti-skid coating system are available for vehicular and pedestrian pavement areas. They can be built up on steel, concrete or asphalt substrates. Use of colors and included stone can enhance the appearance of car park decks, foot bridges and other pedestrian areas.
